For right now though I want to talk about something that’s been on my mind for a while…Here’s the question…What do you do when you finally start to feel like things are “going your way”? Do you let off the gas and coast for a while, or do you floor it and keep pushing your limit? I guess it depends on what you want, but let me offer a little bit of perspective on this…There’s going to be a point where you finally start to feel like everything is working out in your favor. Your business is finally starting to take off…You’re killing it on the court, and your team is starting to win more games consistently…You’re putting in work in the gym, and you’re finally starting to see some serious gains…At that point, you could just chill and enjoy the fact that it’s all going well.
But here’s the thing…If you take your foot off the gas, the only way to go is down. There’s this old expression that “if you’re not growing, you’re dying. Honestly, I agree. So here’s the takeaway…Your journey should always be about improving your skills and working on your craft…the game never ends. So whether you’re at rock bottom or on top of the world right now - the grind and mentality needs to be the same 💯 Because as soon as you let off the gas, you lose your forward momentum and potential to hit that next level. And if you want to be the best at what you do, you always have to keep improving or innovating.
No matter where you’re at right now, bring that energy this week and keep improving. #StayInTheLab 🧪
